Inkfold is a daily news experience designed to inspire curiosity and spark conversation.
Greetings Inkfold readers,
We’re so proud to be a part of this program. (at Matter.vc)
Let the journey begin!
We are part of Matter One, the inaugural class of Matter. Matter is an accelerator for mission driven companies committed to changing media for good. This is something we really wanted to be a part of and all our hard work paid off. Yes!
Matter’s founding partners are The Knight Foundation, PRX and KQED. We are being led by Corey Ford, who has a background with Frontline and Innovation Endeavors (the early-stage venture fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt).
Matter is also about giving back to us, building our knowledge base and connecting us to people and companies that will get our message and mission heard and realized. We couldn’t be happier.
The community is especially amazing and creative. We are working alongside other great and innovative companies that hope to become the future of media. We think you should check them out, too. Show some love to Zeega, OpenWatch, SpokenLayer, StationCreator and Channel Meter.
We plan to use this time to build some great new features and expand our reach across devices over the next four months. Please subscribe to our newsletter, join Inkfold inside your app and follow our blog for updates on projects, thoughts on our product and experiences along the way.
We’d really like to thank everyone for the support so far; our users, our amazing friends, Matter, KQED, PRX, The Knight Foundation, Raoul Ollman and Michael Savvides for camera services. We’d also like to give a special shout out to our significant others, Joanne and Vickie for putting up with our schedules and believing in us.
